How To Get Metro-Nol Card In Dubai

Getting around Dubai is easy with the city’s state-of-the-art metro system. At the heart of navigating this convenient transport network is the Nol card, Dubai’s rechargeable smart card ticketing system. With four types of Nol cards available, riders can choose the one that best suits their needs and travel style. This guide will outline the options – Gold, Silver, Personal, and Red Ticket – and provide key details on how and where to obtain each type of card. There are 4 types of card you just need to find what’s suits for you which are Gold card, Silver card, Personal card and the Red ticket.

There are many convenient ways to get your Nol card.

  1. you can purchase your card at ticket offices at the Metro Stations.
  2. Ticket Vending Machine
  3. RTA customer happiness Centre.
  4. Authorized Sales agents
  5. You can buy it online.
  • Gold card or the Premium card – you canbuy it at AED 30 including the card registration fee and balance of 24 AED (The fare is twice (2x) thanRegular card) – Card duration 5 years. Optional if you buy a gold card and you don’t want to register under your name you can buy only at AED 25, AED 6 for the card and AED 19 for the card balance.
  • Silver card or the Regular card – you can buy it at 30 AED Including the Registration and the card balance of AED 24. – Card duration 5 years. Optional if you buy a Silver card and you don’t want to register under your name you can buy only at AED 25, AED 6 for the card and AED 19 for the card balance
  • Personal Card– you canbuy it at AED 70 including the Application fee or the card registration and the AED 20 balance. – Card duration 5 years (you can only buy this card online with Nol pay application,
  • Red NolTicket – this is paper based ticket you can buy at AED 2. (No need for registration)

If you are a UAE Resident and you want to apply for a Monthly Pass, you just need to present your Emirates ID at the ticket counter in the metro stations.

Make sure you have AED 15 Balance on your card before traveling and the minimum top up or re-charged of your metro card is AED 20.
