How Zone Fares Work
- Count the zones your trip touches, including start and end. Same zone = AED 3; neighbouring zone = AED 5; three or more = AED 7.50 (Silver).
- Stations on a zone boundary are treated favourably — the system charges the cheaper applicable fare.
- Daily spending caps at AED 14 (standard class), so zone-counting stops mattering after a few rides.
- Skip the mental math entirely: the fare calculator applies the zone logic for any station pair.
