Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall (R25) is the Red Line station for Downtown Dubai — the Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Mall, the Dubai Fountain and Dubai Opera. One thing surprises every first-timer: the station is not inside the mall. An 820-metre air-conditioned Metro Link bridge connects them.
The Metro Link Bridge
From the platforms, follow "Dubai Mall" signs onto the elevated walkway. Moving travelators cover most of the distance; expect 15–20 minutes from train door to mall door. The bridge is fully air-conditioned, step-free and lined with skyline views — comfortable even in August. It delivers you to the mall's lower ground link, from where signs lead to the Dubai Fountain, At the Top ticket desks and the Aquarium.

Station Facilities
Ticket office and machines, lifts to all levels, washrooms, retail kiosks, a taxi rank and feeder bus stops at street level. The station gets extremely busy after the fountain's last shows and during New Year's Eve, when crowd-control closures are common — plan buffer time or use Business Bay station as a backup.
